Windera State School was established in 1920 amidst the surrounding farming community. Beef cattle, dairy cattle, sorghum are the main produce for the area.

The school is considered the hub of the community and many social functions take place on its grounds. The community takes great pride in its school.

Currently we have 15 students from prep year to year 6 in a multi-age class.

We have:

'Care and respect' is the school motto. We care for and respect ourselves, each other and our school community.

At Windera State School our school values are:

  • Be respectful
